Course Overview
This program directly addresses the national need for hands-on STEAM talent. It aligns with UNIMY’s engineering focus by providing SPM leavers with practical, project-based robotics experience. By including a take-home hardware kit, we ensure participants gain tangible skills in building and programming AI-driven systems, supporting YP’s ‘Value Creator’ goal. The bootcamp bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, offering a critical hands-on experience that inspires future careers in technology. A class size of 20-30 is designed for collaborative, team-based projects, maximizing engagement and creating a peer-learning environment essential for innovation.
This 3-day, hands-on bootcamp introduces SPM leavers to the fundamentals of AI-powered robotics. Using the Micro:bit platform, participants will learn to design, build, and program their own projects. The curriculum, adapted from our intermediate STEAM camp, moves from intermediate coding to project development and a final showcase. This training is ideal for students with an interest in STEAM or engineering, providing them with a tangible project for their portfolio and a practical understanding of how hardware and software integrate. Participants will keep their robotics kit to continue their exploration.
