Hari Raya Open House with UNIMY SRC!

Disisir diandam dengan cekap,
Potong rambut pelbagai gaya,
Puasa sebulan sudahlah lengkap,
Kita menyambut hari raya.

When the month of Syawal almost drew to a close, UNIMY SRC hosted their very own Hari Raya open house! The event was held potluck-style, with guests bringing all kinds of delicious food, enough to feed a village.

To kick off the evening, the SRC president gave an opening speech, welcoming everyone and wishing the best for all who came. UNIMY’s registrar, Pn. Azizah Atdenan, followed with a welcome note encouraging community and camaraderie among students of the BAC Education Group.

Then the festivities began!

A Feast to Remember

The spread was a true showcase of variety — tomato rice, ayam masak merah, curry mee, and pasta sat alongside sweet treats like brownies, cream puffs, and cendol. As guests tucked in, UNIMY student Najwa took to the mic with a few Hari Raya songs, keeping everyone entertained throughout the feast.

Finding the Right Career Fit

Next on the agenda was a Career Harmony talk by Ms. Ernie Ezarra Bahari, who spoke about the importance of choosing a career that matches one’s personality and guided students through a personality test. It was an eye-opening session, with students walking away with a clearer sense of themselves and the careers that suit them.

The evening was a smashing success — great food, great company, and a bit of self-discovery to boot.
